 | Doe and freshly born fawn in our back yard, both wet from the birth. As I took photos, the sound of the camera (made as the DSLR mirror switched position) attracted the attention of both the doe and the fawn. Seconds later, the fawn ran directly away from my position into the woods with the doe just behind. This surprised me as both the camera and I were inside the house, and all doors and windows were closed. I was also surprised at how quickly after birth the fawn was able to run.
